The 24th MAVESZ Conference on Environment Protection and Industrial Safety was held on October 11 and 12 in Eger. The event was attended by 110 participants from chemical, pharmaceutical, chemical distributor companies and also from the chemical faculties of three universities (Budapest, Debrecen, Miskolc). Presentations were made by officials of the Prime Minister’s Office, several ministries and national authorities, and also by corporate experts.
The conference provided a forum for exchanges between the industry and government/national authority departments covering HSE legislation both at EU and national level. Traditionally it has been also a forum to share best practices among companies and information on innovative solutions in environment and climate protection, health and safety at the workplace and technological safety at chemical plants.
